I have yes, I'm pretty sure they will both be one size up from what they are now so I've bought that.

I do. Multiple dc so bigger ones get passed down. Eldest gets a new one. I buy some Christmas style t shirts too.

Stormblessed · 05/01/2023 07:35

Definitely! I got DS a jumper, a party outfit and some Christmas pj's in the next size up.

worriedmama202 · 05/01/2023 07:38

Yes, were expecting our second so I got a jumper each, 2 dresses each and pjs for £20 a couple of weeks ago when it should all have came to over £65.

dontpickupthemob · 05/01/2023 07:39

CakeCrumbs44 · 05/01/2023 07:46

Worth trying charity shops, too. IIRC my dd has found some there.,

I always buy one size bigger than they will need so it lasts 3 years: the year it's a little big, the year it fits perfectly and the next year when it is snug. Otherwise it feels very wasteful.

Slimjimtobe · 05/01/2023 12:22

Yes I have two kids so the younger will go into the bigger child’s and I bought one I’m the sale for a fiver
also crackers and cards etc 😂😂

inappropriateraspberry · 05/01/2023 12:22

Yes, if it's the right size and price I grab them! Why wouldn't you?

stargirl1701 · 05/01/2023 12:25

Yes but not new. I always buy them second-hand.

jtaeapa · 05/01/2023 12:27

No, I bought my dd a Christmas jumper when she was about 9/10 in an adult size and she still fits into it 5 years later. And hope to never have to replace. Decent one so it washes well.

TribeD · 05/01/2023 18:30

Definitely! Although I sell and buy them and pyjamas from ebay.

I do similar to @NewDogOwner I buy bigger than needed and generally DD has at least 2 christmas jumpers on the go at any time (she's not fussy, she'd wear them in July weather permitting 😁)
