I bought a couple of Sho water bottles in the sale last year, after a recommendation here. They have been used frequently ever since, in preference to the water bottles I had already.

The offer I received this evening is that, for a limited time, if you order “any compatible bottle”, then engraving is free.

I’ve ordered a Classics 2.0 500ml water bottle with my name engraved on it for £12.99 including delivery.
They gave the code “ENGRAVEFREE”, but I didn’t need to enter it.

Hey all, hope you guys don’t mind me asking for present ideas. DD1 is turning 11 soon and I’ve no idea what to get her. She’s still asking for toys but don’t play with them enough to justify buying more.
She’s got a iPad, bike etc, Lego, barbies, so much art stuff, crystals, make up, switch, loads of clothes. I can’t think what to get and she’s getting a bit spoilt as she’s got her dad buying for her too. Going away this weekend for their Christmas so I could do a day trip somewhere near her birthday.
What am I missing? 😵‍💫

Amazon have a spring sale on. Several things that were on my wish list for DD for christmas/birthday are at good prices so worth looking if your monitoring items.

@GirlWithTheYellowHat does she have any hobbies? If so maybe an event that is relevant to that?

Sounds very similar to my dd who is the same age.

Does she enjoy games? My dd has got into chess and loves a board game!

She also loves an experience, as part of her and dd1s Christmas present we are doing a year of new experiences. So been to a few new museums, got a show booked. I've been doing it month on month based on offers I've found but you could plan specific days and give them as a gift.

Another idea I did for dd1 (14th birthday) was an explosion Box filled with gift cards, funny memories and things we love about her. The middle had a mini gift related to a day out we had planned.

Our 11 Yr old got a front door key. She needed it for going to secondary so it felt like the right time. Can also recommend the rex London shower speakers

Magazine subscription might be a good shout.

No cinema in our town or I'd look into that.

No hobbies which require purchases, she swims and girls brigade.

DP freelances so always home 🤣

We've alllll the board games, she loves labyrinth, the Mellisa and Doug balance game and bank attack I've got from previous threads.

Dd10 is begging for an Air up bottle at the moment, apparently very 'in' at her school

I was reading about those air up bottles.

She has tiktok but never really mentions any brands like those bags etc. she's happy enough with primark or new look clothes. If all else fails I'll take her shopping with her sister 🤣

Just wondering, in general are the Argos toy offers (multi-buy 2 for £15/£20/30) worth getting and stashing in advance of Christmas? They seem like good deals for some of the things I want to get for both DDs for an October birthday and Christmas. Part of me wants to buy now whilst they're in stock in case they go out of stock and part of me worries they'll end up cheaper before October and I overpay.
