@Yalz am I being silly for expecting the £10 Tuesday offer to mean everything cost £10?

@Poorlysister , it seems to depend on how you set it to sort things. If I sorted “low to high” (I think it was that way) I only got £10 things. Other ways brought up items at a variety of prices.

If you have patience and can be bothered to scroll past the many “Stock Sold Out” messages there are good buys in the Clearance section, especially in perfume. Sorting “high to low” gets you to those most quickly.
I saw large and medium Yankee Candle and Woodwick hourglass candles at £5 each.

Has anyone seen any football or Pokémon trading cards on offer? DS 8 is asking for them for his birthday but no way can I afford to pay the prices they’re asking now. Since when did they and football stickers (another thing he collects) get so expensive?! 😱

when my kids were young I got bundles of them second hand from eBay (used them n advent calendar and from the tooth fairy. Do you think he might be interested that way? Or is he specifically wanting them sealed?

Jojo maman Bebe have a decent sale on baby/toddler clothes if anyone is buying for a little one. Just got a cardigan to put away for my daughter for Xmas.

Papier have 15% of personalised journals at the moment which would make a nice gift for Mother’s Day. They also offer £12 off £30 with a referral code, so I’ve posted mine on the relevant board.

however, while browsing, I also noticed a few more bargains in their ‘gifts under £15 section’. They have quite a few personalised weekly and meal planners down to £12 which make a nice gift, plus there’s also a beautiful set of three list notepads for £14. The good thing with this is that you can actually customise each of the three notepads with different names / words. So you could either split up and give to three different people or customise the list books for different things.

I’ve previously done ‘granny’s gardening list’, ‘granny’s shopping lists’, ‘granny’s to do lists’ etc.

anyway, I use a lot of this stuff myself and have gifted Papier stuff before and it always goes down well. Nice for kids’ journals too.

@IsThisIt2021 pokemon cards don’t come cheap, however I did spot a few packs reduced in Waterstones at the cash desk the other day, so might be worth a look there.

What are bomb cosmetics like compared to Lush please?

@LemonFrosting l bought some Bomb sets for my daughters for Christmas , they have both used Lush & Bomb, they much prefers the Lush of course but the Bomb sets are very nice and about a quarter of the price that Lush are. They are a perfectly nice present and are packaged beautifully . HTH

Thank you @TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans . To be honest, I'm a bit fed up of the Lush boxes as they are mainly Bath bombs and I like a mix of soap too. I'm going to give bomb cosmetics a try as there are a few sets with soap in. Thank you so much! 💓
