I'm all for all bargains - don't suppose most people gave the £1 subscription to Radio Times for an Xmas gift but I did and it was apparently the best my mum got 😂

But also, not a regular poster (although regular reader) so don't feel like I have much say anyway

I think it should stay as a general thread as well! I use these threads for birthday and Xmas all year round. Last year I brought Xmas gifts in February because of this thread

Thanks for this @mac1974 I'm going to get some kinetic sands sets my DC love kinetic sand in the tuff tray, will stash away for school holidays. Might get some for friends presents aswell, I always used to have a box of generic presents ready for invitations to parties etc I need to get that going again rather than relying on prime delivery!

It's worth having a dig around your local TK Maxx if you have one. Popped in to buy a birthday and housewarming present, ended up finding a Peppa Pig 24 books advent calendar in the children's book section on clearance for £4. I'd say that's a bargain I certainly wasn't going to pass up. DD will love it when December comes.

Bloom & Wild have windowsill garden boxes or a nice idea which is a TLC plant rescue kit. You get a plant that needs some TLC and the kit to rescue it. It's an all female company that they've partnered with and is just something that bit different.

Further reductions now in Boots. Very little online but I think you'd get some good bargains in store.

Just popped to boots as needed something anyway and had a good look at the clearence sale our store had 70% off. Loads of Harry potter and Disney bath type stuff. I got a joules outdoor set for a mother's day gift was £22 now £6.60 and a cookie kit to pop away for the DC one weekend was £5 now £1.50. pleased with those!

I was in Primark yesterday and they had a pile of Christmas novelties lie Christmas tree glasses, Christmas jewellery all for a pound each.

You should try using both at checkout, I've done that in the past with Argos and it usually lets you

M&S Harry Potter House hoodies where £22 down to £10. Hufflepuff and Slyrherin only, Ravenclaw sold out and Gryfindor not included. Quite tasteful and lovely quality, though we did size up for a comfort fit. Other hp stuff in the sale, pink hoodies, leggings and dungarees etc. Selling quickly.

M&S sale now on. I've just got some good beauty bargains and a dress I'd been eyeing up for ages.
