Over the moon to get one of the Designafriend dolls, I’d have liked both (one for each child) but still v v happy to have got one! And I’m going to order a couple of the Spirit sets for the present cupboard, what a bargain, the reviews say they paid £20.

My local shop says is is closing down: this may apply to all physical stores. Everything in there is at least 30% off. The Retail Gazette says it will be 50% off from Friday.
The Christmas stuff is already 70% off, so thee are some good bargains there.

@NoWordForFluffy back with another thank you for the Playmobil. It was DS bday yesterday and he was over the moon with the playmobil stuff. I also managed to get a fire station on eBay for £40 so he had tons of playmobil for £40! Really appreciate it 😊

5 pound stuff oodies back on. They have cat, otter, rabbit, panda, Star Wars and a dog in a box design (no idea what real name of that one is).
Penguin have sold out.

I've been after the cat one since they had them before Xmas and have finally managed to get one. Fingers crossed it's a real one as it seems to be luck of the draw.

John Lewis real life stores have massive mark downs on left over paper and cards, packs of 10 gift cards for 10p. Helpfully not all in one place but hidden around the store (Oxford Street yesterday, loads left).

Anyone after the £6 argos designafriend dolls keep checking the site. They've just had a restock. Picked mine up and they're stunning, I've just ordered another 2 for charity and 1 for a birthday party.

My local John Lewis must have sold out of all its bargain paper and cards. Some stationery was reduced but not by much, and there were at least a couple of different August 22 - August 23 diaries still at full price.

I did see a Le Creuset stainless steel steamer marked down from £93 to £90, though.

@Mrsfussypants1 thanks for the doll heads up. I'm really tempted by the gamer for my DD but she will be 9 next Xmas so not sure. But she is a bit of a gamer & does have some of the R friends dolls that the entertainer do so wondering if I'm just overthinking for the sake of £6!

I just ordered two of the dolls and the Gamer one immediately cancelled after the payment went through so that one may now be out of stock!

They are selling quickly, both dolls are beautiful, it was lunch time when I bought the second lot. Also finally managed to get the sleeping bag/pj set for just under £8 as it had sold out.

@Roserunner I wonder if it depends on your location. Ours aren't available to collect until Monday so must be on their way to our store

Sleepover set now sold out.

I ordered two different dolls and two outfits as were going to give one each to my nieces and only one outfit is ready straightaway, the other two aren't due in until sun and mon! Maybe they only transport them so many miles!

It does look like they refunded me the full £8 though and gave me the discount on the whole order so happy with that!

Thank you for the offer, don't worry about it, I'm not desperate for it, just thought it made a nice gift. I managed to get one doll and 2 outfits which I think my niece will love.
