We separated 8 years ago but I've always been invited for Xmas day . Kids are adults . Dh has a new girlfriend so hardly surprising I've not had an invite.
So tomorrow I'm off to my neighbour. We went halves on dinner and we have enough booze to sink a battle ship 😂. We got a half price turkey today in Morrisons. We got everything we need . We're gonna cook while drinking Buck's Fizz !
Her dd has asked me to come early to watch her open her pressies. (She's still not asleep ! I've got all her presents in the hall waiting till she nods off !
I'm actually really looking forward to a day laughing and pratting about with my friend !
Kids are coming Boxing Day for another Xmas .
