Didn't plan for any of them but the twitch gets me every single year

A melissa and doug push along cart for DD because it was half price on Amazon. Then had to get DS something so they had the same amount 😁

An antique tin. Saw one on TV and mentioned to DD that I’d been considering it for her but wasn’t sure she’d appreciate it. She said she’d have loved it! So found one for a reasonable price on eBay. Not sure it will arrive in time now, but even as a late gift it will be nice.

A 2023 journal in a pattern dd used to like and a vintage Lego set ds might have expressed a passing interest in last year. And purple carrots in Tesco that my family will all be grossed out by.

If Christmas just came two weeks earlier I’d do so much better.

A bottle of sipsmith lemon drizzle gin, so we have two gin choices. Opened this eve for ‘testing purposes’ and sadly dissapointed it tastes like regular gin!!

should have got another bottle of the rhubarb and ginger one I know we like instead ☹️

Twitching is when you think you're all done for Christmas and then you decide last minute that someone needs an extra present or you need a (previously unconsidered) crucial element for Christmas Dinner etc.

Nothing other than a pack of bath crayons to add to DS stocking (he’s only just 1 so had hardly anything in there) and a little pot of playdoh to add to each of DDs. Normally I would have done but I had everything bought and wrapped last week and have been trying not to buy more as they’ve got loads. Both DDs have apparently started their birthday lists though as I told them santas Christmas list was officially closed.

tbf we got great deals on them all but not on any of there lists.

We only brought the AirPods because some cretin stole ds at college and because we brought ds1 another pair we didn’t feel it fair to leave ds2 out.

Ds1’s birthday is in a couple of weeks and I felt very smug having bought his presents already but today my youngest said he would like something I had bought ds1 and he replied saying he wouldn’t want that so that’s now going to ds2 and the other main present I got for his birthday is going to ds1. Now I’m back to square 1 on his birthday presents.

£100 of posh wine from Lidl and a £7.99 crocodile monster truck for 3 years old and over.

Finally got around to wrapping and the presents just looked so thin this year, and everything we got for our little boy lovely but so worthy. The monster truck is our one just for fun gifts.

Although I learned from MN to wrap a pack of chocolate cereal too.
