I love Christmas and this year I am totally relaxed about it and looking forward to it. I have been ill and in hospital and my husband has health problems, so my lovely daughter is hosting Christmas at our house. I got all the present buying and wrapping done by early December, the tree was up and decorated the first weekend in December, we don't have to worry about cooking or washing up or anything else on the day. We are taking my grandchildren to the pantomime on Friday, they are staying overnight and we are making the dessert for Christmas Day on Saturday morning before they go home. I am well aware of how lucky we are, we aren't worried about the cost of Christmas, we don't go overboard on presents and I budget carefully for them, and we are able to pay our electricity bills. I always enjoy Christmas but this year will be particularly good because I am abdicating all responsibility for making sure it runs smoothly (which is quite something for a self-contained control-freak)
Is anyone else all prepared and looking forward to it?
