Heading to M and S tomorrow, later than I would usually so not sure what they have on offer this year. What are your must haves from M and S at Christmas?

In previous years it has been their lebkuchen selection box for me, but they stopped doing this a while ago 😥

I’ve always liked their party food. The stuff like mini burgers etc. but I swear it has doubled or tripled in price. I picked up some on a “4 for 3” deal, but then put it back when I realised it was still going to cost over £20.

I love the let is sloe fizz

Harperweek · 20/12/2022 20:47

their party food, haggis neeps and tattles are amazing. So are the prawn ones. Some of the others not so.

CrazCrashy · 20/12/2022 20:49

I literally only by M&S deserts now everything else is very average aside of the carrot and Swede mash and the red cabbage

AwkwardSquad · 21/12/2022 05:25

I loved their lebkuchen selection box so much! It was my no.1 Christmas treat, I remember forlornly scanning the shelves for at least a couple of years after the stopped stocking it :(

The blue biscuit box! (Don't know the name 😂) like a foxes biscuit collection box, but better

Their Very Merry Munch tins. Full of chocolate covered popcorn, pretzels and nuts. I just love them so munch.

Very Merry Munch tin, and the gold tin of Belgian biscuits.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 21/12/2022 06:11

Another vote for the blue box of biscuits which are quite often on offer. Really thick chocolate! Used to prefer M & S crisps as a child.

SecretVictoria · 21/12/2022 06:32

I loved their cheese in blankets but they haven’t done them for a couple of years now. As pp said, their stuff is average now.

KangarooKenny · 21/12/2022 06:33

I agree that I find their food average. I’ve never got the hype.
Some things are nice, but nothing to get too excited about.

BCBird · 21/12/2022 06:36

Off to there on Fri at 6am to get picky food for 1😋

Blueskiepoles · 21/12/2022 06:37

I’m underwhelmed with M&S in the past couple of years. I think it’s overhyped and most certainly over priced. Both food and clothing.

MerylSqueak · 21/12/2022 06:40

Sour cream and chive pretzels.

The blue box biscuits have much more chocolate than the gold tin. It's always a dilemma when buying small gifts. The tin looks so much better but the blue box biscuits ARE so much better.

BCBird · 21/12/2022 06:41

Oh no. Maybe coming back empty handed. Perhaps Tesco instead. Gluten free list has to be. I can go at 6 and if no joy, bomb over to Tesco for 7🤣

mrschocolatte · 21/12/2022 08:29

@Darcy101 They are! They are just so hard to get hold of though. You have to get to the store pretty early to pick a tin up. I think they might do little mini bags of it as well. I’m counting down the hours to teatime when I can open a new tin!
