Mum and four children ranging from 12 to 6. They're not British. Im struggling to think of anything suitable.

Food? Some sort of hamper with really nice Christmas treats in?

Yeh food. Hamper style with their favourite treats

Food seems a bit rubbish for the kids.

They're a ukranian refugee family.

They also think a lot of our food is weird

Then put chocolate and sweets and biscuits , or smellies

A board game they can play together?

A game? Something fun that all ages can play and which doesn’t need a lot of reading like Twister?

A game, something like Blockus which doesn't need much reading.

A fun board game like Beat That and/or a decorate your own Gingerbread House kit (or some Lebkuchen).

Do you have a Vue cinema nearby? £30 would pay for five cinema tickets.

Have a look at a game called OK, costs £10 approx. We played it last week for the first time and everyone enjoyed it, adults and children. You could them get a tin of chocolates, some fancy biscuits and a bag of mixed sweets for the children.
