We have 2 male employees, 1 16, 1 17, and I have no idea what to get them for a Christmas gift, please help! They each do 1 weekend shift a week and They are both lovely, we want to spend about £50 each. The girls are super easy and all sorted but I have no idea for the boys...we have a gorgeous independent bookshop and so far a voucher from there is my best suggestion but I want to get something nicer than that!

£50 Amazon voucher.
My nearly 17yo wouldn't be interested in a random gift, but would appreciate a voucher. Or £50 cash bonus if it wouldn't take them (or you as the employer) over any PAYE or NI limits.

Amazon voucher or a Love 2 shop voucher as they can used in TK Maxx and my teens love it there!

I agree a voucher is good. places like Amazon or costa or Gregg’s or a local pizza place.

The boys in my family like a good aftershave.

Being honest, a book voucher would be wasted on my DC.

Fidgety31 · 19/12/2022 22:28

Not many boys that age would buy a book.
Id go for high street gift voucher or Amazon and then to unwrap a selection box.

it if you really want to buy gift and not voucher - Next sell a nice selection of mens fragrances and you can get a mixture of small ones for about £25

JD voucher

Ducksurprise · 19/12/2022 22:59

Cash, always cash. It would mean so much more and for the girls

If you want to wrap-up something a bar of chocolate and cash would be perfect.

Hellocatshome · 19/12/2022 23:02

Honestly just give them cash in a card.

TokyoSushi · 19/12/2022 23:09

Yes agree, cash or Amazon voucher. Lucky boys, they'll be delighted!

BuyaGift have some bargains. Search for a discount code, should find another 20% or so off too. Just brought my nephews a driving experience voucher. They had vouchers which they can choose activities from too.

I have a 17 year old and cash or voucher would be much appreciated or a gift card to nando or similar if they go to those places ?
A book voucher not sure he would know what to do with , unless you know they are book reading teenagers

canihaveacoffeeplease · 20/12/2022 07:50
