I was planning on going to Morrison's for the food shop but popped in M&S and they have some lovely things.
Which do you think would be better ?

I'd get my fruit and veg, any red meat, and non-perishables in Morrisons and the poultry and fancier bits and pieces from M&S.

I'm always sucked in with M&S party food every year

I find Morrisons to actually be really expensive, so I'd go with M&S as there's not much cost in it and they have some lovely Christmassy bits

I did my main Christmas food shop today in Morrisons but will pick up fresh fruit, turkey, pie & dessert later in week from m&s.

Morrisons was expensive for ham, but seemed reasonable for everything else.

If you can afford m&s then I'd do that, they have such lovely things. Reindeer bao buns!

I've ordered my Christmas shop from Ocado so plenty of M&S stuff included despite having a Morrisons delivery pass because they have been incredibly poor for weeks now and I have no confidence in them delivering me anything. I will nip in Morrisons to pick up the last minute bits though. As for price I didn't notice Ocado being all that much more expensive than Morrisons although I'm paying for convenience really so can rationalise it that way.

M&S without doubt.

I used to favour Morrisons but think it has gone significantly more expensive than most supermarkets. M and S is for treat for me usually. Think I might pop there this week. Christmas dinner for one this year. Why not? I deserve it🤣

For me,Aldi for the main shop, Turkish supermarket for lovely fresh fruit and veg, turkey on order from indie butcher.
I don't think Morrisons is great quality for fresh stuff, and M&S is quite expensive. But they do have really nice smoked salmon pate!

Morrisons may be cheaper but M&S far nicer. I really like the look of the baked Alaska but it’s way too much for our house as I’d probably be the only one eating it.

I went to Asda, Aldi and tescos today. Ended up buying 2 gammon joins from Aldi. Asda had lots of variety but wasn’t really impressed with tescos.

Morrisons has shot up in price of late, so I'd get the special stuff from M&S, and the bog-standard fruit and veg etc from another supermarket. Aldi is our nearest alternative to Morrisons, and we still save money even though it is several miles further away by car.

Morrisons is not very nice and way more expensive than it should be. It's like a mostly low-end supermarket charging high-end prices. Better to spend a little bit more and go full M&S.
