Hello, I iced my Christmas cake today with fondant icing. I left it out all day and now it's got tea towel over it in a roasting tray. I'm not sure what to do with it between now and christmas day. I've heard putting it in a cake tin isn't the best idea. Any suggestions?! 🍰

You can put it in a tin, but will also be fine just out on the side.

The icing will set and protect it, no need to cover you can put on cool sideboard if you have one looking pretty or on tin in coolish place , once cut pop in tin
Main thing is keep away from moisture. Steam or freezer v bad for icing
