Feel like such an idiot, ordered a Tesco Vue gift card and it was supposed to be sent today (Hanukkah first night) but there is no sight of it

I should just have bought it from a physical store, but i thought it would be better to have an email copy of it. I could have ordered it online I suppose but there was a deliver charge and royal mail was on strike. It was for my SIL and I ordered it such that it would be delivered today

My DH thinks I am an utter Muppet for buying a gift card. I tried calling Tesco but could not get through. Not sure why but I feel like crying :( I called Vue as well but they said I have to contact Tesco as I bought it from them

Please be kind, what should I do as I can't get through to Tesco at all.

The Tesco helpline will be closed now as it’s Sunday. Try tomorrow and check your spam folder.

Was it a physical gift card you ordered or was it an ecard? Where have you bought it from?

If it was on email they are usually sent immediately. Did you put in your address or the recipients email address?

Just trying to think of everything that might have happened.

email address is correct, SIL confirmed it. It was also a copy and paste job. Date is today. SIL checked spam folder as well.

If it’s an e card they won’t send you a physical card. Just ring them up and ask them to re send it, they can re send the same one.

they have definitely taken the money. its really hard to get through on the phone, but I will persevere!
