What do I want for Christmas?

So my husband has just asked me what I want for Christmas - he likes to leave it to the last minute and I don't know! I've asked for some slippers as mine are barely hanging on by a thread!

So what have you all asked for?? Can you give me some inspiration! I just don't know what I want 😂

Favourite perfume perhaps? Also perhaps you could ask him.for a quirky,surprise present for less than 10 pound- might be a laff.

I don’t/did t know either. Whenever I want something I usually just buy it, which makes Christmas a struggle 😬 I make it hard so I help him out. This works for us.

My list for DP ended up being:

Favourite perfume (my mum used to buy it for me but she died last year)
A handbag (bought myself and handed to him to wrap)
Amazon voucher for Kindle
(Expensive) socks
Books (one ‘rare’ that I sourced myself as I wanted a specific cover and handed to him to wrap)
Blue tooth headphones

Last year I got a tablet and Bluetooth speaker and a handbag, plus books.

I'm literally just doing the same for DH!

Candle

A nice smelly candle, a bottle of Prosecco, and a box of Ferrero Rocher.

For the last few years DH and I only get each other 'experiences' rather than gifts. Things we can do together. We've done a walk over the 02, dinner at somewhere I had always coveted a segue tour, couples spa and my favourite a guided foraging tour (not everyone's cup of tea I appreciate). Maybe there is something you would like to do together (or something you would like to do without him )?

My husband just asked me and I've said he can pay for a massage or spa day thing.
I actually snapped at him about not giving it any thought til now when there's postal strikes and he has no opportunity yo go shopping, and xmas is only a week away!

If there's nothing you really want then I agree that experiences are great. Or it could be booking to a restaurant for early in the NY or one of those restaurant food kits to have at home - just got dh a middle eastern one for Christmas as he is a big foodie.

I was struggling and DH always leaves it the last minute. We have both done a quick list each as we like to have some things to open.

some nice PJ (gave him a link)
some perfume I bought myself (gave him it to wrap)
a nice candle gave him some choices
a small bag of handmade local chocolates we went shopping together and each selected our own.
some Christmas cocktails (see photo) from OROGIN.
I may also get some inexpensive ear rings from a local shop he knows I like.

The Lego orchid and succulents to add to my collection of Lego botanicals . Nice PJ's. Snag tights. That's all I'd really like this year. Hard to think of 'gifty' things I wouldn't normally just get for myself.

I actually ask for the same things every year - all my favourite things.
from the dc I ask them to find the tackiest, kitch, random bauble for the tree.

I would much prefer to be taken our to lunch or dinner, or stay in a nice hotel rather than accumulating more stuff. If pushed because someone wants me to have something to open I am fairly boring - book, nice chocolates, posh candle.
