Gift ideas for my lovely grandma

Wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I can get my grandma for Christmas.

She is 76 but young at heart. She is a full time carer for my grandad who has Alzheimer's, her life is so hard right now. She is the most amazing woman I know.

Experience gifts are tricky as she doesn't get much time away from my grandad - and when the carers come so she can go out and get some respite she's often just anxious and worried about him :(

I just want to get her something really lovely that will make her smile and remind her she's important and wonderful.

Any ideas gratefully received!!!! X

Something that's a little bit special and just for her would be nice, but what does she like?

Perfume
A silk scarf
A cosy jumper
Some slippers
Some jewellery
A painting/piece of art

I have put together a photo album for my elderly relative.
It has a really lovely leather cover, so I'm hoping she will leave it out and, when she has visitors they might flick through and it will spark some interesting conversations.
I've only put in 25 photos but they are of really happy past occasions and, where possible, I have added menus, tickets and notes.

some respite time - can you offer to stay with gf while she goes out? Or buy a couple of hours of care so you can take her out for lunch or tea or something?

Treats for her in the house- a coffee machine if she likes coffee or fancy tea bags. Some bath goodies and an offer of an extra visit every few weeks one evening to let her have a luxurious bath while you chat to grandad. A subscription to a magazine of interest to her. A photo book. Some fancy bedding or a lovely throw.
if she is most comfortable being at home and close by for your grandad then don’t try to make her leave by getting days out etc. she might not enjoy enforced “time off” if she doesn’t feel it’s right for her or him. Support her to support him… maybe a monthly treat? A flower or bakery delivery?

Does she like skincare? My 82 year old DGM loves a nice serum to keep her wrinkles at bay (her words!). No7 have some really good sets currently

Flower delivery like Freddie's flowers?
A letterbox book subscription. You can choose usually a rolling subscription or a set amount like 1 month or 3 months etc

Subscription box so she can have a special treat every month, nice scarf, jumper, slippers, coffee machine, spa day, afternoon tea

Thanks everyone for your comments. Going for some nice skincare stuff and a photo book of her and my grandad with my kids - their great grandchildren. Happy memories

And not forgetting the spaghetti portion measuring tool that she asked for 😂

Another vote for a photo album or a photo book, you can include even the oldest family photos. There are programs where you can repair old photos or even colorize them and add to the book following the chronological order and adding a few words about every person. Photo stores might also make a custom cover for the book and it would come out looking really professional and classy.
