I accidentally broke his friend years ago 😢 but kept this one & do hunt every year in case I find him a friend, but so far, no luck 🤷‍♀️

Couldn't find anything, sorry. Who knew there were so many different penguin salt and paper shakers though?! Yours is very cute, it reminds me of those penguin stationery sets you used to be able to get, where he had a little top hat that was the rubber.

Is there any mark or make or label on the underneath?

I think that's a Woolworths salt shaker as I'm sure I had that pair at one point. Mine were lost on a house move though so can't help.

@Oblomov22 no, no markings on him. I think they were originally from Matalan, my dad went through a phase of buying everything from there.
