Nice water bottle - like Chillys but smaller?

I’m looking for one that’s light and robust like a Chillys or Sipp but smaller - even the small Chillys (260ml I think) is too big for a teenager to shove in a small bag!

Are there any good brands anyone can recommend? More about size than ability to keep water cold actually but it needs to look nice

I got a nice S'well one from TK Max

ApexPredator · 14/12/2022 15:39

Thanks @InDubiousBattle do you know how big it is? The smaller size swell one I’ve seen is the same size as the Chillys so still a bit big

I've got the a7 memobottle which fits really well in bags but unfortunately looks like a hip flask. It was the most compact bottle I could find and is very useful. I do tend to announce it's a water bottle though! 🙈

I've just remembered how daft the prices are! I have to keep water on me at all times so it was worth it for me.

I think most of the metal bottles are 260ml at their smallest, below that you'd be looking at plastic ones. The robust metal need to be a certain size. I've looked at KK, Sho and a few others. Have you had a browse in TK Maxx? They tend to do some unusual ones.

Thanks all - yes, will have a look in TK Maxx. I love the look of the memo bottle but can understand why people may think it’s vodka or something!

The S'well bottle is a 260ml one, it's for my 7 year old to take to school as I was sick of replacing plastic Minecraft/cat/unicorn ones when they broke!

elevenplusdilemma · 14/12/2022 17:53

Surely anything below 260ml is barely worth carrying around (a can of drink is 330ml, so <260ml is basically a couple of mouthfuls at most)?

I’m not sure of the make but I noticed Sainsburys do ‘handbag’ water bottles I think they are made of glass but are very cool looking and had plenty of different colours. They were very tiny 200ml I think

Smash, I think the make was Smash.

museumum · 14/12/2022 19:19

260ml is barely a small glass of water, it barely seems worth carrying for that.

mincepiepie · 14/12/2022 19:25

Tk maxx have a nice selection.

It is worth having a small bottle around 200-250z. It's great for when on holiday or a day trip and have a small bag.

I got this from Amazon, 200ml

Sometimes I just want a sip of water and don't want to buy a bottle , certainly don't want a soft drink.
It fits in the pocket of my small rucksack

OrangePomander · 14/12/2022 19:57

I’ve got 260ml bottles from both Moon bottles and Chilly’s (series 2). The Moon bottle is narrower in width and taller than the Chilly’s, if that makes a difference for fitting the bag space.

ApexPredator · 16/12/2022 10:53

Thanks all for the suggestions which I’ll look into Flowers

I agree such a small one is barely worth it but the teenager thinks it is, and far be it from me to try to understand the workings of that mind!
