What sparkly Christmas thing can I put in the two pots outside my front door

Currently have two largish grey pots either side of my front door. Both have lavender and large daisies in - the daisy foliage is still going strong and the lavender looks very healthy. What can I stick in there to give some Christmas sparkle - was originally thinking of getting two small xmas trees in pots and snuggling them in with some lights but then I'll have to rehome the daisies. I really just want something on a spike that looks pretty and can be pulled out again in Jan!

Tinsel trim around the pots?

Could you get some battery operated fairy lights.

I don't think I'd repot plants that are doing well at this time of year, or rob them of root space if they're doing well it seems a shame, it's also potentially a faff after christmas to repot the trees somewhere.

We've got some battery operated fairy lights on our two potted palm trees out the front. I don't usually do outside decorations, not really sure why as we do decorate inside. This year I did it as a cheap way to keep them from freezing while we've got the frost but it does look nice; I have them on the twinkly setting on a timer. Price wise I think I paid less than £10 for a 2 pack.

In Homebase yesterday I did see some half price offers on outdoor lights and they had stars and christmas trees on stakes that can be shoved in the pot.
