Downloaded games - what to put under the tree?

Hello all,

My 2 eldest are getting a game each for the Xbox s, so it’s a downloaded game, not even a box with code. Do you have any ideas for what I can put under the tree so that they can unwrap something and find out they have got the game as a present?

You could print a picture of the game and put it in a box. Or something loosely related to the game with "can you guess the real gift?" written on it.

We're buying a game download this year and so far, I'm thinking maybe using a case we already have with a printout of the game in it to wrap up.

I've (DH) printed out the cover picture and stuck it to some sturdy cardboard then wrapped it this year. In previous years I've stuck in to cardboard then put it in a big and wrapped it.

Could you get an X Box gift card in the amount the game will cost and wrap that up>?

As others have said, I copy the best on line image I can find and Photoshop it into a personalised gift card.

Wrapped box In a box in box (as many as you want to drive them crazy!) getting down to a clue that takes you to their games console where they find the code to download it?

The games are already bought and on my account as I got 60% off around Black Friday. I’m going to download them in advance as we have really slow internet, and DS1 had to wait a week for his birthday present to download properly.
