Quality/Quantity of Gifts...

I have been buying bits and bobs as I've seen them and thought my family may like them and now that I have started wrapping and actually looking at what I've bought, they're all a bit crap really 😩 apart from their main gifts, which are good quality/mean something.

It's little stocking fillers and edibles like chocolate, cocktail pouches, face masks etc

I've tried to be sensible and not buy too much this year, but now I'm worried there isn't really a lot of substance to what I've bought.

Do others do one main gift and then little bits like this? I've always bought way more than was needed over the years, so now I'm second guessing myself 🫣

DC & their partners range from 17yrs - 31yrs btw, so are technically adults. Obviously I reverted back to my old ways and I've bought more than I probably should have for my DGC 😇😂

I think doing a main gift and some smaller addings is fine, that's what we do even for family Secret santa, ie the main gift is a fancy makeup palette and then there are small chocolates, a christmas tree ornament and a set of bath bombs. Edibles are always nice end even if the person wouldn't eat them, they can share them with others, so you really can't miss with that. Last year, when I got a subscription to Photoworks ultimate for my BIL (so not a physical gift at all), I added a custom mousepad and funny socks so that he would have something to unwrap as well.
