Best 2 person strategy games for young teens

And Scotland Yard

Looking for best 2 player games aswell, any suggestions?

Carcassone is great! It's a 2 player game me and my husband used to play it a lot (before baby came along!) hard to explain what it's about but it's a strategy game and once you've got the hang of it it's relatively easy and fun x

Our two player household plays Jaipur the most. It’s a game about prices in a market changing, so you are trying to push your luck to collect the most things to sell at the highest price before the other person dumps all their goods causing a crash. It’s a good game, and the best part is the extra side trade in camels, which is amusing and for which we have our own personal strategies.

Ticket to Ride, Risk and Villainous

We like Jaipur. Definitely the best two player as it's designed for two rather than adapted for them.

Go is perhaps the simplest and and the most complex strategy board game there is. Ancient and brilliant.

Jaipur is great. Have a look at Hive.

Five Tribes is a 2-4 player game but I think it's best with two as you can plan your strategy so much better. It's a great game.

Splendor duel and 7 wonders duel are both designed for 2 players and are really good.
