I don’t know what to get my friend w for Christmas this year. She is 79, she is very active and is coming to see me at the weekend (just over a 2 hours drive for her) so I need to get her Christmas present sorted. In the past I’ve bought her M&S vouchers, nice hand cream, body lotions, candles, chocolates but now I’m lost for ideas… Any suggestions please, the budget is £20-25.

Latest best seller.
Cook books.
A wok.
Pot plant.
Lemon tree for her conservatory, or other warm place if she has one.
Bird bath.
Bird table.
Bottle of red, and a bottle of white. Or a bottle of flavoured gin.
Waffle maker.

Does she wear scarves or gloves?
Would she enjoy an afternoon tea delivered to her home?
A really pretty journal type book?
Does she use a diary?

Nice cushions or a luxury throw

I’m doing personal stuff for older people as we all know we have all shuffled a step closer.
I have a recent family photo that I have made into a simple jigsaw for my aunt with dementia.
Another older friend with a cool sporting hobby I have made into a snow globe and note cards so she card remind everyone she’s still got it.
Neither of them them have the patience to deal with the photoshop websites so I know they won’t get these themselves.

Turtledoves cashmere wrist warmers about £25 I think (or £7.50 from their seconds shop on Ebay).

Leeds2 she lives in a flat and has a lot of stuff but the book is a good idea!
Bonbon21 she wears scarves and gloves and a pretty journal is a good idea too.
I sent her an afternoon tea for her birthday recently and she absolutely loved it.
