What are you getting your Secret Santa recipient?

We've got two secret Santa exchanges running at work (both optional with 0 pressure to join in): a charity shop challenge for £5 and one for the whole office for £10.

I hit my local charity shop this morning and picked up 3 scarves (including a 100% cashmere one!) and a couple of books for £5.

So far, I've spent £4 on a notebook for my other recipient but need to have a think about what else to get.

What's everyone else getting?

No Secret Santas for me this year (yet....), but unless you know the person quite well, I'd stick with safe gifts, so with your notebook, a nice pen to go with, or post-it's/highlighters etc. a scratch card for good luck, or something edible. Or I like the idea of an Xmas bauble. I steer clear of anything 'jokey' that could be taken the wrong way.

In my last role, our Secret Santa was next level, encouraged to be creative, and was then (comically) scrutinised at the Xmas meal. It was LOTS of fun, but the most stressful Xmas pressie I had to conjure up each year 😂.

A heavily discounted pair of gloves from Celtic and Co and one of the giant bars of dairy milk. (Toasty) fingers crossed!

My recipient is a VP so I'm treading the conservative line. He used to work in Colombia so I might try to find some Colombian chocolate.

I'd be very happy with a giant Dairy Milk!

We have a £5 budget, so I'm gifting the giant Diary Milk 😀
