I know I don't have to and they won't appreciate it - but I love their parents dearly and want to include their kids in our homemade cracker tradition.

8 months and 2 and a half.

What is small enough to go in a cracker but not dangerous??!

Budget max £5 each.

One of the Wow Christmas figures?

A teether (like a nuby corn?), Christmas socks, crayons, small chocolate treat, mittens, stickers.

Sounds like a lovely tradition!

For the 8 month old, maybe a bib rolled up, weaning spoon, squirty bath toy, mini crayons, light-up ball, chewable toy, a snack-type thing, very small Christmas chocolate or coin?

2.5yo, how about a blind bag? Playmobil or Sylvanian family? Small car, crayons, can't remember if you mentioned if they were girls or boys but maybe a scrunchie or other hair accessory?
