Christmas Cards - Royal Mail

Just saw they are advising to get your Christmas post in they system by 12th December for 2nd class

Don’t believe them. I posted my dsis birthday card 1st class on 25th Nov for her birthday- 4th Dec. It still hasn’t arrived.

I would say any Christmas cards posted now won’t arrive in time as staff are being told by managers to leave letters behind on a daily basis and only take the tracked items

Wont be sending/ordering anything now to be delivered by RM. Dd ordered a birthday present for family member to be delivered here then to be posted on. It took nearly 4 weeks to arrive Family birthday has been and Gone. So she’s keeping it back until we see them at Christmas.

I posted a card on Saturday 1st class and it arrived yesterday

Same, I'm still waiting on something that was dispatched on 25th Nov and I sent a return item on the same day and that's not been credited yet so assume it hasn't been received. There's no way I'm spending a small fortune on cards and stamps for them to still be in a sorting office in January, i'd rather give the money to charity.
