@ScarierThanBoo thanks for the title. Hope your slappers keep you lovely and warm and cushion your feet through the winter Xmas Grin

YesChef have their Christmas lunch boxes up finally. They were a good bargain last year. I can’t find a voucher code and can’t bring myself to pay full price though.

Whatwouldnanado · 03/12/2022 10:23

Pandora charms on Etsy 16.00 or so.

sittingonacornflake · 03/12/2022 10:47

Has anybody seen a bargain jack in the box anywhere? A slightly random late request from 4 year old DS.

Picklesbaby · 03/12/2022 11:07

What about one of those photo frames you put the sd card in so she can always have different family photos to look at on a slide show? Might be a talking point too .

Need a bargain idea - DD is 16 and is a bit clueless about geography - as in where places are. After another mind blowing conversation where she was shocked to find out the Mediterranean Sea is nowhere near the Caribbean Sea 🤦‍♀️ I want to get her something to help her figure out where places are both in the world and UK. So part jokey present but also semi serious (I cannot launch her into the world like this). I thought a globe but would need more detail and don’t have lots of space - ditto for big posters.
Something stocking filler type and cheap but educational?

Picklesbaby · 03/12/2022 11:20

That sounds like a great idea thank you. I don’t suppose you know if there are any of those don’t need plugging in or need wifi to run ?

jocktamsonsbairn · 03/12/2022 11:24

For all of you in Scotland, I'm sorry to burst the bubble of hope for M&S gin or prosecco... apparently they are n't allowed to give us the booze free due to the licensing laws. Manager at local M&S told me today. Said people are complaining! Harrrummmmph!

What about one of the world map posters where you can scratch off where you've been? Seem to be popular with my DC and their friends.

jocktamsonsbairn · 03/12/2022 11:26

@Iknownothing you can get them on Amazon pretty cheap

Photo blanket?

EwDavid · 03/12/2022 11:29

Can anyone recommend a decent bamboo mug? My husband is a nurse on a psychiatric ICU so not allowed proper mugs.

Jigsaw? That’s how I learned my geography.

BoopK · 03/12/2022 11:33

I've just bought 3 neom candles for £46.94 one of each size

Put a code for £10 off your first purchase on bargain referral thread if anyone wants one.

Huge inflatable globe?

user143677433 · 03/12/2022 11:41

Does anyone remember, from several threads back, someone recommended a company that makes personalised books based on a historic date/year?

I am hoping to order one for my parents golden wedding anniversary.

OhRex · 03/12/2022 11:42

My bargainous DMs I bought from ASOS in Black Friday have arrived and are….. too small for child 😫😭Does anyone know where I can buy them at a better price? Are there any deals still to be had? They are back up to £180, jadon 8 hole platforms in Pisa in a uk10. Thanks in advance bargain hunters! Snowman tix for me too at M&S but at least I live in London and could get there if I won them….

Completely missed the last 100 post of the last thread as keep getting and error message and the thread goes white . Hope it doesn’t happen here

Me too. It wouldn't load at all.

Well that’s bloody annoying, and doesn’t it just show how they value Scotland as a market?

Favouritefruits · 03/12/2022 11:45

@Picklesbaby how about a box of these sweets specially designed fir dementia patients, my Nan loved them and I knew they helped keep her hydrated at the end. www.jellydrops.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3P_0v6_d-wIVD7_tCh2hGwjMEAAYASAAEgKWd_D_BwE

2lostsouls · 03/12/2022 11:48

@Iknownothing mapominoes game? Have been considering this for my equally geographically-challenged DD.

Cuwins · 03/12/2022 12:05

@Iknownothing
I would suggest either a puzzle or a board game. Probably to young for her and I don't know if it even still exists but as a kid I learnt most of my European geography from 'explore Europe' board game and I'm still pretty good on the location of countries

Iknownothing · 03/12/2022 12:24

Great ideas - thank you - hadn’t thought of a jigsaw. Actually a kids game would be fun too!

BloodyMabel · 03/12/2022 12:25

@Iknownothing this looks fun

More or less geography
