@ScarierThanBoo thanks for the title. Hope your slappers keep you lovely and warm and cushion your feet through the winter Xmas Grin

X12 secondhand books, each individually wrapped and labelled with a month. Include tea/coffee/snack and a bookmark made from a childhood photo of you both in each package

@CatOfTheLand i love this idea so much!!!!

Boots £10 Tuesday includes a lot of baby- related things today.

There are also a few beauty and skincare items, and a vibrator.

Talisin · 06/12/2022 10:13

20% off everything at Hush until 12/12 with code XMAS20 .

LemonFrosting · 06/12/2022 11:04

Thank you to the poster that said about the buses yearbook arrived today and my son is going to love it! Thank you!

LemonFrosting · 06/12/2022 11:05

Bought off ebay second hand and it's like brand new!

Gladysrocker · 06/12/2022 11:05

Can anyone recommend a candy floss machine? So many on Amazon have rubbish reviews!

Moltenpink · 06/12/2022 11:08

Just spotted it’s 20% off outlet again at Vans with code OUTLET20, think someone was looking for a discount?

My 12 year old son wants clothes and is suddenly very opinionated about what is fashionable. He is in to the North face, Tommy hilfiger, and nike.

Any ideas where to get these brands cheaper/on offer? North face is especially pricey.

Seriously missing the days when he was content with clothes from anywhere as long as it had spiderman on it 😩

If you aren’t too squeamish about vintage I would recommend Thrift plus online. I got DD a North Face coat for £48 in September. It is three quarter length, very warm and perfectly legit just second hand. It would have been hundreds new. They don’t seem to have any NF at the moment but have a lot of Nike and Tommy Hilfiger if you search. Worth a look 😀

Theraffarian · 06/12/2022 11:31

Just had a message that my handmade sack ordered on 21st November has gone into production today (!) which will take a couple of days , so maybe they will start to arrive next week .

BloodyMabel · 06/12/2022 11:38

Hotel chocolat are also doing the coffee machine for £30 when you buy the reduced velvetiser so you get both for just under £100 if you join/member of VIP.

shinny · 06/12/2022 11:43

Just coming on to report Hotel Chocolat deal - see someone's pipped me at the post! Its a great deal if you have 2 people to buy for

SpottyBumPony · 06/12/2022 12:16

I bought the coffee maker a few weeks ago, it makes nice coffee but note it only makes a double shot, if you want a longer coffee you still need to boil a kettle to top it up.

But it looks very pretty on the side next to my velvetiser so .... 😁

Bargains are slowing right down. Can actually keep up with this thread for once.

Still no great offers for bloody dumelm though!!

TheHappiestChristmasTree · 06/12/2022 12:47

Anyone know of any discounts more than 10% for Homebase? Or a free delivery code- they charge £6 😱😱😱

CheeseIsMyPatronus · 06/12/2022 13:00

The Malbec tasting box arrived and looks great!

I wouldn’t bother with Dunelm @MarshmallowsOnToast received a box of smashed mugs, contacted them to see if to return them as they’re sharp pieces and the guy actually asked me to go through and separate the sharp pieces from the non broken returns with more packaging (that I was to supply myself) before sending back.

Sorry for the rant but does anyone else feel like customer service skills have gone way down hill this year?

MaMaMaBelle · 06/12/2022 13:12

Hot diamonds have sent me a code for my birthday 😉 even though I used the code 'birthday' to get £15 off my last order.
Are there any other codes that will stack? Thank you

I had the same from dunelm a couple of years ago then the courier turned up with a van that didn't fit the parcel and they wouldn't rebook. Never did get a refund.

SleeptightDaisy · 06/12/2022 13:22

I've had the same email from smashed grapes but had ordered for 16th Dec so not late as of yet.

Still waiting on footballs for u kit tracking was emailed in 21nov. I was in the local post office and they said it's normally 15 working days but should add the extra 6 strike days on before chasing up. Not sure how correct that is and whether to hold out or request a refund from the company.

Two gifts for teachers from the woodland gift company that were posted 7 days ago arrived today.

BF30 still works for 30% off. Use that first.
And JEWELS for free delivery

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 06/12/2022 13:35

@PlainJaneSuperBrain99 I have a 14 year old who suddenly got into designer labels, the price change is a shock 😂

MandM Direct are hit and miss but you can sometimes grab a bargain and if he is a tall 12 then Mainline Menswear are good for prices.

Laney79 · 06/12/2022 13:52

Advice please! My almost 3 year old son is obsessed with the animated Peter rabbit series...typically most of the associated toys have been discontinued! And are now pretty collectible -argh!
I'm trying to get him the little plastic figures. Have managed to get a few main characters from marketplace but I'm struggling for the villains (Mr Tod the fox, Tommy Brock the badger and Old Brown the owl). Am trying FB marketplace, Vinted, Gumtree, and eBay...any other suggestions of places I could try? Ideally that won't require me to take out a mortgage to get them Confused

Is it a one time only code or is it generic?
