Somehow I've been shafted by BIL and have ended up with my family Boxing Day and DH's family the next day. Normally I do a full on buffet but the prep and clean up is stressing me out a bit. We're also hosting a NYE party which I've got sorted but I'm a bit daunted by it all.

Any easy suggestions ? I was thinking of gammon, par baked rolls, coleslaw etc for one day but would be too dull to do twice!

I’d definitely do the same thing twice. Less prep, less waste, less work. What’s not to like?

Sausage sandwich extravaganza.

Different sausages, ovened.
Different breads.
Maybe onions.
All the sauces.

I'm thinking this looks like a good option www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/pigs-in-blankets-traybake/ 🤔

I know it sounds a cop-out but I genuinely did do a sausage sandwich extravaganza one time. I was stressing about not really invited guests and thought ahh, fuck it.

And it Was really successful! The lack of fuss and stress was revalatory!

@TheSpottedZebra as someone that had bangers and mash for our wedding meal, I'm wholly in support, my mother though would refuse to eat
