Face cream or something similar plus vegan options

I asked DS2 about perfume for his girlfriend, but apparently she is well supplied with it. He says she likes ‘face creams’ etc. I don’t know where to start finding one as I never use it. She is 39, and always receives that Liberty advent calendar so ideally avoiding anything that comes in that.
Any suggestions welcome.

Also any ideas for DS1’s vegan partner? No wool, no silk, no honey, no leather. Last year I got them a fancy air cooker plus pink and yellow mushroom growing kits (huge success, highly recommended) . She doesn’t wear much make up or go in for bath time pampering.

They are both perfect DILs even though technically not, so I am trying to think of something they would really like.

For your vegan DiL, have a look at Treecelet treecelet.co.uk/webshop/

What’s your budget for each?

For your vegan dil, if she enjoyed the mushroom kit, have you got a local cookery school near you that you could send her and your son for a vegan cookery lesson? Our local one does something similar, like making a vegan Wellington from scratch, and it would be something they could enjoy together.

Re face creams, it really does depend on your budget; it’s limitless. If she knows her brands, a tiny pot of Creme de la Mer wouldn’t set you back too much. I’m also a big believer that you can never go wrong with Chanel.

Failing that, Oodies for both of them!

I buy my skincare from Face Theory, it’s vegan and sustainably packaged. So may be suitable for either.

I really like this brand for their moisturiser. It's all sustainable and vegan but actually all the things I have tried have worked really well and been very lovely too. Also have been good for not reacting with sensitive skin. upcirclebeauty.com/

Nagado, thanks but DIL and DS1 are great vegan cooks already. I have now found another, different, mushroom growing kit from the same company so that is a start! For carnivorous DIL I have been looking at Elemis skin stuff, but will have a good look at tealandteal and CheerfulCharlie’s suggestions. Thank you.
