Apple AirPods - is there a decent alternative?

Both teens want a pair for xmas. Both DH & I just can’t justify the price of them, we just imagine if they lose one, that’s over £100 gone. We told them if they got them there’s no way they would take them to school, which they agreed but when it comes to it, I know they’ll be arguments!

Of course we want to get them what they want, which is this & they won’t be getting much else at all, they said fine.

There loads of cheaper alternatives out there, so if I can show a good one to them, I’m sure they be happy with that, making their money stretch further.

Have you looked at aftershockz? They are bone conduction one, my teens love theirs. They were £55 over Black Friday, I think they are normally £70.

They don't block the ears so comfortable and safe to wear especially when you need to be aware of sounds in the environment.

Dd has Skullcandy wireless earbuds, she says they are very good. There’s various models, hers were around £50.
