Whilst I don't think I'll have any issues decorating the sitting room and kitchen, I'm keen for any ideas/inspiration to add more Christmas decorations/anything festive really throughout the house! In particular a rather sad looking office room, hallway etc. Apart from twinkly lights I'm all out of ideas!

What kind of things have you used/found to bring festive joy to other slightly less loved rooms/spaces?

Scented candle in the hallway and a sprig of holly over the mirror
Banister garland going up the stairs
Mini Christmas tree in place of normal potted plants (on our landing)

In our study we put up those stretchy foil decorations in gold or silver from each corner to the centre, all very 70/80’s disco as it’s also the space we have the bar cabinet and always some corny word artwork I’ve printed out and put in a frame.
Bathrooms we just have festive hand towels, a festive smelling fragrance stick thingy and festive smelling soap, then some festive toilet roll from the evening of the 24th.
We don’t have a hallway it’s more of an entryway so just a small festive display in a vase on the cabinet could be flowers or twigs with baubles on, another festive scented thingy, a candy jar full of 1 type of sweet or chocolate, haven’t decided what that will be this year and a garland of something draped over the mirror, could be greenery or tinsel. Oh and a faux mistletoe ball dangling from the ceiling.
