Any suggestions on what I can make in the next few days for a Christmas foodie hamper? Have made some chutney and planning on making biscotti. Have a few days off so want to do some stuff now that will keep till Christmas!

Fudge - you can freeze it
Nigella sweet chilli jam - but it’s a sauce…never had it set!
mincemeat for homemade mince pies - so easy
I saw Ottolenghi has a marsipan brandy butter recipe I can’t wait to try for hampers this year but it only lasts a week and needs refrigeration so not very practical
i bake, feed and ice a Christmas cake and put a wedge into the hampers of those who I know like it
Love doing hampers!

Parmesan bites - www.goodto.com/recipes/savoury-parmesan-bites

Fiona Cairns’ shortbread - www.copymethat.com/r/5TFlgDLmS/classic-shortbread-recipe-from-bake-and-/ (makes tonnes - can be frozen. Use cornflour for the perfect mix of crunch/melt in the mouth)

Unless the recipient is expecting your gift, I'd make anything that keeps. My SIl did this once for us, lovely idea, but I'd already got mince pies, cake and cheese in and we just couldn't eat it before ideal use by dates. If you were preparing for me, I'd like cheese straws.
