Food bank and clue hunt advent calendar

For advent, each day DC are going to get a riddle for a place in the house and find a food item that will go in a box for the food bank. n.b. we have discussed so they know this is the deal and won't be expecting chocs, they are happy. They don't know about the clue hunt element actually as I wasn't sure I could be arsed would have time.

DH suggested I share in case any would find it useful. Some people may not have all the same places in house e.g. fireplace but you can find other clue hunt riddles easily online (this is basically what I did 😀)

Love a treasure hunt around the house. Wishing I'd saved the clues I've used for Easter Egg hunts now. I like a bit of "My first is in coffee and also in tea" type clues.

I have in the past made up other good riddles like that @Namechangeforthis88, always forget to keep them.

For this one, we're finishing on 24th so can take the box to a food bank before they close. We did it once before, when DC were younger and just rooting through the kitchen cupboard was exciting enough, then couldn't find anywhere to take the box til a few days after Christmas.
