Hi @mummyof2boys30 I can't help with the heated throw recommendations, but you might be OK with the tickets. I had chemo earlier this year and I found that I was fine for the First couple of days of the cycle, felt rubbish for the next 10 days and then was fine for the next 9 days. Of course, everyone is different and it depends how long the cycles are and which drugs they are being given. My lovely sister in law gave me a lovely present last year which I found so useful. She put together a hospital bag for me. She put in some knitted hats, woolly socks, a notepad and pen, a couple of books, some puzzle books, some cristallised ginger, some lemon and ginger tea bags, 4 or 5 lip balms, Aveeno moisturiser, an eye mask, a journal, a travel mug, some Costa vouchers (our hospital has a branch of Costa) and a game for my Nintendo DS.

Im unsure about tickets. Was for DH and FIL. I'm happy enough to go in FIL place. Was worried about it putting pressure on him thinking he needs to go. I was thinking exactly what your SIL got you, maybe blanket, hand cream, nice scarf/gloves and then some hard boiled sweets. He starts treatment on 28th Dec so right after Christmas. Hope you are doing well.

My DC do love the stocking lights, so that was a cute gift. Skipped their miserly offer on the crisps today. Crossing fingers for Prosecco tomorrow. Will probably be 30p off a tin of tune 😂

Thank you to previous posters who advised on penguins, I opted for a large Jelly cat and a fleecy throw.
I don't want to irritate with another request but are there any nice slappers that anyone can recommend? I bought a fabulous pair from Sheepers but I need a spare and they don't have my size right now. They have size 2 on sale though if that helps!

@Isyesterdaytomorrowtoday I ordered on the 24th aswell. I got a dispatch email on the 25th and it arrived on the 27th. It came by Evri who I know have some delays at the moment but it's strange that you haven't had any dispatch info yet.

I've just noticed free click and collect at TK Maxx until Monday. Some good reductions on gifts in the clearance section too.

Or very if you don't have an account they were offering 20% off when you signed up for one. My partner bought a laptop and saved £100 that way.
