The Chocolate Society has restocked its Factory Seconds page.

You need to scroll down to see everything that’s in stock. Some things need to be eaten quickly but others might be good for presents as they have Best Before dates of April or May 2023.

The November subscription box is £10 rather than £30, but BB 20 December. There’s Coal Honeycomb BB 27 December for £2 instead of £8.50, which might be good for Santa - or is leaving out coal a NYE thing?

My favourite thing is Bag of 10 x Blonde Salt Caramels - BB 14th May 23 - for £3. I could well be wrong, but to me they seem like the contents of this box , which contains 16 for £19.95.

They say that all their discount codes can be found on this page. Free postage over £50.

Very much chat not bargain so sorry to those who dislike chat.
But I am so curious, how come so many teenagers are into Vivianne Westwood now? Has it featured somewhere, like Kate Bush being on Stranger Things?

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 02/12/2022 13:49

Did you get any discount?

I didn’t know I needed it either, but now I NEEEED it, but don’t want to spend £25

I’m pretty sure there was a 25% discount code earlier on the thread, but I’m afraid I don’t know what it is.

Does anyone know where I can buy a map of a county in poster form? Odd request I know, thought it would be something I could find easily but proving tricky. Has to be poster size so it can be pinned to a pin board to mark various locations.

XYZ map store on Amazon has a map of my county

Ordnance survey will let you order bespoke maps, although you can’t zoom out enough to get my whole county in

but I’m going to have to buy a bespoke ordnance survey map to put on my wall now, damn you

A massive thank you to the person who mentioned bargainous advent calendars at Ocado. I have several coming this evening (had the receipt to confirm) which I am going to break up and put the contents in stockings. All 75% off.

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 02/12/2022 16:01

The website said a £70 value so maybe you should complain?

PlainJaneSuperBrain99 · 02/12/2022 16:30

@BigEarBob my son has this from the works and it's v good.

Has anyone got a budget prelit Christmas tree. Been asked to get one for my Granda. Seen one in tesco which has wreath, garland and tree for £55. So hard to buy without seeing it out

Flubadubba · 02/12/2022 16:30

Anyone else feeling that there are fewer bargains out there than in previous years?

sittingonacornflake · 02/12/2022 16:49

I went to marks and Spencer's today to pick up my free chocolate coins and I also bought some Percy pig sweets amongst other things. When I checked my receipt they'd actually given me the sweets for free and not the coins. They were 75p more expensive so that's good!

thaegumathteth · 02/12/2022 17:07

I'm jealous of all the Ocado chat. They don't deliver here 🎻

That’s interesting, especially for people who don’t like the free thing they’ve been offered. In my experience Customer Services can look up the details of the offers on your card if they scan it, and so could tell you exactly what it covers .

WELCOME25 for 25% off shaker (someone else's tip from earlier in thread!)

OhRex · 02/12/2022 17:24

Thanks @BadgerLovesMash Etsy seemed to be bringing up the same things as eBay- it’s much more commercial these days and harder to find those independent sellers! I’ll see how much my local print shop would do it for - good shout!

OhRex · 02/12/2022 17:31

Yes @Justhereforthechristmasthreads thats the exact type of thing! It’s pure polyester though 😫and I don’t like buying from Shein either, I wish there was something in between the likes of disturbia and kill star and Shein……

@OhRex I will be honest I didn't look at material sorry I just saw it had fleece inside

evtheria · 02/12/2022 17:50

This is a small stocking idea but if anyone else's teens are obsessed with these noodles, I've seen a 'big' size one in B&M for £1.69 They also had 2 other flavours in jumbo.

Have I missed the 20% at Selfridges for black Friday? I couldn’t see it!

Need to buy that Vivienne Westwood Orb necklace for my dd13! Any ideas where it might be cheaper that £100😲

I don't think selfridges did it....I was watching for the same reason! I'm guessing they are in high demand as no one seems to be discounting them at all

mummysandwich · 02/12/2022 18:04

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a little gardening kit for an 8 year old? I've seen one on Amazon but not sure about it...
This is the one I've seen, can I do better?!
this one

Blessedbethefruitz · 02/12/2022 18:10

OK, I have an immense challenge for you guys! We got this hot wheel set at our local charity shop for £15 (absolute bargain), and it's missing one unique piece of track. I have located it on ebay, but it's more than the set cost us! Matell doesn't seem to do spare parts in the UK. Anyone know where to source things like this please?

Completely agree!!!

DeeofDenmark · 02/12/2022 18:23

This year it has felt more like making sure you are getting the cheapest price if you are going to buy anyway. In past years there have definitely been lots of genuine bargains that really tempt you to buy things you never imagined needing.
