Hope it's all sorted @nickdrakeslovechild

Bsgetty · 01/12/2022 13:39

@thaegumathteth Ooh no, we don’t have one so I didn’t think of there. I’ll have a look. Thank you!

Yoyoyo1 · 01/12/2022 13:57

I'm trying to track down the Lego Creator 3 in 1 Fish tank if anyone has seen one?

PassThePringles · 01/12/2022 14:04

PopcornShed individual packs in Home Bargains, £1.50 a box (iirc) and Candy Kittens are in Herons (I think also £1 50 a pack, something like that anyway!)

Not very christmassy but crimpits are buy one get one free at the minute, I've fancied one for ages but didn't want to pay full price

crimpit.com/en-gb/

My friend swears by hers!

Flubadubba · 01/12/2022 14:23

Still no word from Candy Kittens here. I just wanted an advent calendar 😭

OdeToAutumn · 01/12/2022 14:24

Hello,
can anyone help with the best deal for a sim for a child? He is getting his first phone and I know you can get free sims but I wondered if there are any good deals where we might get a bundle.

I know giff gaff have £6 a month for 1gb data and texts and calls. Anyone seen anything cheap than that?

thanks

Never heard of these before but now I want one 😂 But the link you included isn't showing me a BOGOF offer. It seems to be £9.99 for one, plus you can get another for a further £6.99. Has the offer disappeared already, do you think @Karatechopp , or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Athlebad · 01/12/2022 14:38

I'm getting FOMO with all this Sparks talk. Is the Sparks card a credit card? Or can you access the offers and advent freebies just by creating an M&S store membership account?

thaegumathteth · 01/12/2022 14:41

Amazon have a WIZ smart lightbulb colour changing for £2.99 with code ALEXAWIZ

I don't have a credit card, just an account from ordering

Also, before the chat on this group starts to tail off, can someone tell me how (and when) you find these Christmas bargains threads when they start off? I was searching for them at the start of November but only finally found them when Thread 14 was underway! I want to be ready for it at the right time next year and have a better way to find it than just Googling 'Mumsnet ChristmasThread 12' or whatever, which is my current method... @Reastie ?

thaegumathteth · 01/12/2022 14:44

I just always go to the Christmas board and it's usually near the top cos normal ppl aren't thinking of Christmas yet

Sideorderofchips · 01/12/2022 14:45

Come January I start the bargain prequel thread and usually post a link to it at the end of the most recent bargains thread

Athlebad · 01/12/2022 14:53

Thanks @thaegumathteth , good idea.

@Sideorderofchips is that a different bargains thread that runs throughout the year? 👀

Sparks card - is there a refer a friend scheme? If so, can someone send me their code or add them to the referrals board pleas?

Has anyone got an order update or managed to hear back from Smashedgrapes, i made order a few weeks back and no order update email yet or response from customer service when i emailed last week.

They emailed me yesterday. I ordered a box of wine and emailed for a delivery date. They replied to say that they were awaiting packaging which had been delayed by Royal Mail and they would be dispatched by the end of the week

I got an email this morning to say that all orders using the code SOPHIE50 had now been dispatched so hopefully it will be with you soon

@Yoyoyo1 yes, my son now makes himself a hot chocolate every day and really loves it. Good for encouraging independence too I think.

thanks @ChristmasCwtch for the Hotel Chocolat recommendation 👍🏻

I got one for my mum instead of Velvetiser and they offered me their dark choc drops which I bought at the time. I think there was some kind of code but can't remember it sorry. It looks pretty simple to use but not as flashy as Velvetiser.

Sideorderofchips · 01/12/2022 15:24

Yep prequels run till September then its over to reastie

puppydisaster · 01/12/2022 15:25

No, doesn't work sadly

TheGriffle · 01/12/2022 15:26

Does anyone have a discount for Argos at all please? Wanting to spend £25 and had no luck on my Google hunt for one.

LemonFrosting · 01/12/2022 15:30

I'm on the hunt for a police outfit for a 5 year old with hand cuffs (no truncheon!) if anyone can recommend please? Preferably a waistcoat style. Hunting amazon and the reviews are coming up as poor quality.

thaegumathteth · 01/12/2022 15:38

@puppydisaster shrug it's a wiz smart light bulb - about 4th down £14.99 before discount. It's an amazons choice.
