Any recommendations for an electric shaver for teen DSs? Proper whiskers rather than just bum-fluff, but only needing to shave about once a week. DS1 n particular has very sensitive skin.

hoopdeloop · 27/11/2022 20:38

I picked up this in ikea today, thought they’d make handy stocking fillers

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 27/11/2022 20:52

Anyone else having trouble with this thread? I have had to put it on view all messages on one page as when I clicked onto page 2 etc told me they had lost the page. Least I got you all back 😀

UGGs have some good Black Friday deals including women's sliders down to £30. Only £2.50 postage.

Scout2016 · 27/11/2022 20:55

truffle shuffle sale and codes
Decent sales on and some codes at top of site for additional discounts. Black Friday deals and a regular sale, look to be different stock but hard to tell.

chickenmashandgravy · 27/11/2022 20:57

Does anyone have a discount code for Fenwicks please? Want to buy 2 coverless duvets.

Scout2016 · 27/11/2022 21:00

Sorry, codes looks to be for Truffle Shuffle full price only. Just tested it on a reduced lounge fly bag and said not valid on sale items.

Can anyone remember the link for the Swiss army knife keyrings, tried searching but I can't find it

EekGoesTheBaby · 27/11/2022 21:02

I've been lurking since Thread 14. Unfortunately, I don't have any codes/bargains to share (I am the student; you are the masters), but I just wanted to thank the PP who posted about the £10 Bailey's at Sainsburys. DH and I get a bottle in every year, and you saved us 12 quid. Thank you!

Magik01 · 27/11/2022 21:04

25% off bloom and wild with the code ZARJL, unsure if it could be used on subscriptions though.

also not sure if it’s a one use code, sorry! 🤪

I suffer quite badly from Raynauds, are Turtle Doves really good for it? I have tried so many types of gloves but the other thing that worked was a muff with a handwarmer in it. A bit impractical when you have kids jackets to button up etc (also i looked ridiculous)

I posted this on the other thread but I know the pain well ☹️ so posting again, have you tried the fingerless gloves with the mitten top style gloves?

Like these?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 27/11/2022 21:10

Only got until tomorrow morning but picturehouse are doing Black Friday membership for about half price. I used my tesco points tripled to get membership of £47 for £5. This got me 10 free tickets plus discounts of food and drink. DH ticked off list!

gawditswindy · 27/11/2022 21:20

Checking in although my shopping is done. Definitely done. Done.

oriel2013 · 27/11/2022 21:23

@VeruccaSalty With the turtle doves I thi k the recommendation is to put them in as wrist warmers as soon as you get up/dressed so your wrists and hands stay as warm as possible. Then use as fingerless gloves where practical during the day but keep them on as wrist warmers all the time. This does work for me but I only have Raynaud's quite mildly compared to others I think

Youvegotafriendinme · 27/11/2022 21:26

@bookcollector I bought husband a pair from primark. Very thick, grey and touch screen.

MsMiaWallace · 27/11/2022 21:40

Great thread title thank you!!

Puffalicious · 27/11/2022 21:46

Some glorious stuff in IKEA today: their wrapping stuff is just gorgeous and all recyclable; they had beautiful, large sacks at £4; 2 bottles of Christmas, fruit wine for £5; 2 tins of Christmas biscuits for £5; huge tin of Ginger thins for £3ish; Gingerbread dough in the fridge you just roll out and use shapes on for £2.

Well worth a look if you're going anyway. I was most impressed by these fabric wrappers, 3 sizes for £3.

Can anyone recommend any sites selling Florence by Mills skincare? DD has put this top of her list and the Groovy Glow set I think would be perfect for her seems to be sold out everywhere I've looked!

@Elphaba17 Look Fantastic have it on offer at £41.25

Octoberfishing · 27/11/2022 21:53

Child's Farm shampoo reduced from £4.50 to £2.66 - I love this stuff for my kids as it smells so good and they've had no cradle cap / dandruff since using it.
