DC have written their letters to santa. In our house, the stockings are from him, and the rest are from us/family etc. I like to get DCs most wanted item in a small enough version for the stocking.

An ambulance

That are small enough for a stocking. Any ideas? I've done an amazon search but nothing looks quite right or is stupidly expensive for something small that's mainly for the magic of Christmas.

How about a key ring? You could attach it to a school bag rather than a set of keys. There are some on Amazon for a few pounds.

@Helssjbells I love The Ribbon Room for Christmas ribbon (and gorgeous little fabric gift bags with gingham bows). They only have one option for velvet right now but it's available in a few colours. I've recommended Fantastic Ribbons on this thread in previous years because their bundles are brilliant value but I think this year's offerings are a bit underwhelming.

@Crimsonbow You don't mention ages but little wooden vehicles like this cute ambulance from Etsy were always a stocking hit with my DD.

How about looking on etsy? I got a lovely personalised animal necklace from there, I'm sure you could find a unicorn one. There's a unicorn themed magazine I think which could be rolled up into a stocking. Or TY beanie boos do lovely teddies, we've had a unicorn before.

For the ambulance do hot wheels do a miniature one? Or if they are young enough for paw patrol Marshall drove an ambulance as well as a fire truck I think. (I'm sure we had a Marshall with ambulance!) Or if you wanted something related you could make a pretend paramedic ID badge on a lanyard, and maybe a few doctors things like a stethoscope.

Or super cheap for both print off some colouring pages with some new pencils/pens.

Hi can anyone give me any ideas for where to look for a handbag for a teenager, something 'in' at the moment, first 'proper' bag. Potentially something furry/quirky would also suit. Struggling for niece!

I've bought a few quirky bags from shein for my dd. She has a frog one, bread one and she has a backpack with a separate clear section on the front for pin badges so she can show them off without the risk of losing any!

Me and my DC have worked our way through their two Christmas bars early - both bars were perfectly fine and tasted and looked ok. Hope that helps a bit.

@Tinysnickers i liked the Klutz craft kits that were mentioned a while back, like the sushi bar or bakery ones where she could make a couple of bits a day? Or what about diamond painting? That looks like it would keep her occupied!
