@MoiraDavidAlexisJohnny might not be or interest if u want the real deal but I got my daughter a fake coraline doll from aliexpress. It looks identical to the £43 from hmv but was £16. Obv not taken it out the packaging yet so might not be the sturdiest but looks ok and my dd will probs be putting on a shelf.

Thanks so much, wish I'd seen this first before ordering from zavvi! Ahh well I got some other bits too as well as using a discount

MoiraDavidAlexisJohnny · 29/11/2022 17:46

Obviously I've missed the original bargainous smashed grapes offer but I think the tasting boxes will be fab presents, any other offers around that anyone knows of?

Can anyone suggest a gift for a 40yo friend who seems to have everything 🤦🏻‍♀️ My budget is £30. TIA x

Do they like food - I'm sure on buyagift I got a cheese box for my incredibly lovely but awful to buy for friend and she loved it dearly !

Threeboysandadog · 29/11/2022 17:52

If anyone is still looking for Oodie type blankets I thought this looked nice for a girly girl anyone who loves a bit of colour. I haven’t bought one myself to test but thought it was a good price.

Shutitwierdo · 29/11/2022 17:52

My Degusta advent is now showing on sod and is due tomorrow. Just in time.

Filterphobia · 29/11/2022 17:56

@Helssjbells
I have a recommend a friend code for Freddie’s Flowers. It’s a subscription but you can cancel after the first box. I have a regular delivery and love them. The first box is free, PM me your name and email if it will be any use to you😊

buckeejit · 29/11/2022 18:00

@Amazonmulu I'd recommend an electric hot water bottle. Or a food flask, rechargeable hand warmer, turtle doves cashmere wrist warmers, (seconds on eBay), or decent travel mug. Hmm, there's a theme to my suggestions!

Cuwins · 29/11/2022 18:03

I'm happy to take one for the team and test my dairy milk tonight!

NightOwl101 · 29/11/2022 18:05

Is there still active candy kitten discount codes?

Tinysnickers · 29/11/2022 18:07

Hi all, joining the thread incredibly late this year because I'm now working and I just don't have time for MN any more!
Hoping some lovely people might help me out with some ideas...
I'm looking for a game or activity for my 7yo girl to do on her own when her brother does not want to play and when I'm cooking dinner.
Not screen based! She's not into lego or marble runs, or small world/imaginary play, and we have a load of jigsaws already.
I'm all out of ideas but if anyone has any I'd be super grateful!

We have Rush Hour and Cat crimes which are both one person games and great.

Tinysnickers · 29/11/2022 18:12

@Amazonmulu how about something from here? John Osborne the maker is on the BBC2 programme Saved and Remade and the smaller things are very reasonable. I bought a Robin garden stake for a friend and can vouch for the quality, the metal is really thick and heavy duty. The napkin rings are lovely too.

Something like a paint by number?

ChristmastimeMummydrinkssomewine · 29/11/2022 18:17

@Tinysnickers my 8 year old loves the kids sticker by number books

TheGriffle · 29/11/2022 18:17

@captainflash my beer52 calendar is also stuck in the Evri system along with 4 other parcels of mine. It hasn’t updated for 4 days.

ChristmastimeMummydrinkssomewine · 29/11/2022 18:18

Thank you for the feedback and the image of a sausage dog half in, half out a letter box, wee legs flailing 😂If it will fit through it'll be fine in her freezing porch for a day until she's back!

captainflash · 29/11/2022 18:18

I’ve messaged Beer52. Let’s hope they are helpful!

We actually have some of these already, I will have to dig them out again.

PeeJayDay · 29/11/2022 18:22

@MoiraDavidAlexisJohnny I'll put my referral over on the bargain referrals thread. It gets us both £20 off

Adding bloom and wild tenner too for the poster looking for letterbox flowers

Herefordeals · 29/11/2022 18:28

I think I missed the Degustabox offer and can't find it on the old thread. Is it still on and what was it? I'm a sheep when it comes to these things!

Re smashed grapes, I got an email to say my box (ordered before they sold out) had also been set as delayed delivery by mistake and it won't be dispatched until at least 1st Dec now which is when the next batch arrive. Just in case anyone's waiting!

Karlkennedyslovechild · 29/11/2022 18:35

Struggling to keep up with the threads this year! Was in Waitrose the other day and DS spotted the giant dairy milk so I felt gutted I’ve been ignoring all that chat!

Im looking for suggestions for a night light/projector to be in DS’s room all night. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Elphaba17 · 29/11/2022 18:40

Sho have some good reductions for Black Friday on their website. They also have a mystery box for £32.99 delivered- contains 3 products and an accessory. I'm tempted to get one for myself but don't really need anything lol

Anyone who has ordered football kits from footballsbestforyou which has been discussed on here before, how long did it take to receive your parcel once you got your tracking number? I received mine on 21st November. When I use the tracking app provided it doesn't really tell me anything. Starting to get a little bit nervous about whether I'll receive it!

Within a few weeks from ordering I think, it was quicker than I expected
