@thaegumathteth Joma Jewellery have children's bracelets. Not sure if they are adjustable though. Sorry if already suggested, not finished reading thread yet.

Does anyone know how Degustabox is sent? My DH advent calendar is preparing to leave the warehouse and the deliver date has gone from 30/11- 7/12 to 22/11 to 30/11. Just wondered if it's something like DPD where there would be a chance or RM where there's none!

Courier has always been DPD.

For both the advent calander and the normal box subscription. They've (DPD) always been reliable with their delivery estimates for Degusta box.

Does anyone remember who the Argos cashback was with on Friday? Was it Quidco? I think it was an opt in to £20 cashback on a £100 purchase. Nothing has tracked for me.

thaegumathteth · 29/11/2022 11:55

Thanks @kateandme . I'm not totally sure - maybe something with an initial charm on? Don't want to spend more than £20.

And @Irritatedmum that's cute but I think a bit young for the 11 year old. Thanks though .

My Beer 52 advent calendar was delivered pretty quick within 3 days of ordering.
Im still waiting for my pjs from night, they are apparently now with Evri, so hopefully they’ll be here soon.

Smashed Grapes advent calendar just delivered by Parcel Force in a box and looks absolutely lovely. Can't wait to gift it to my parents.

Some really good Bomb Cosmetics bargains on Just My Look.

Lots of things that can easily be split up for stockings

Helssjbells · 29/11/2022 14:06

Need to order some birthday flowers for MIL does anyone have a code for Bloom & Wild or another letterbox flower company?

Also, I’d like to try and make my presents look relatively decent this year, rather than the normal throwing wrapping paper at them, while juggling a million and one other things and hoping for the best…. Are there any good places for cheap velvet ribbon?!

mydogisthebest · 29/11/2022 14:07

Are there still any valid codes for Buyagift?

flumposie · 29/11/2022 14:19

Beer 52 advent calendar arrived this morning. Candy kittens came yesterday and so this was a job for today

Selfridges have some lovely looking advent calendars reduced, like Hot Wheels for £10. Worth stashing for next year, now I just need a free delivery code!

OdeToAutumn · 29/11/2022 14:32

Sho reusable have mystery boxes for £32.99 which contain 3 items worth £70. They have nice water bottles, food flasks, travel mugs etc. They also have a sale on their individual items.

ive not bought a mystery box but I have bought a reusable bottle from there and it’s lovely.

IDontKnowWhatYouMean · 29/11/2022 14:33

My degustabox account has a link to dpd but when I click through, it has been showing as ‘not received’ for days. I’ve messaged them on social media a couple of times and had no reply. Last year it arrived in plenty of time, I’m not impressed this time round.

The NSPCC shop is offering a 5th stocking filler for free with a purchase of four. Some nice things on there like little binoculars. P&P is free over £30 shop.nspcc.org.uk/collections/nspcc-christmas-stocking-fillers-under-5

Piccalino3 · 29/11/2022 14:50

@IDontKnowWhatYouMean, that's rather annoying!

I can't see a tracking link anywhere and not had any emails to say it's been dispatched so who knows?! Is there a specific place on the website I should look for a DPD link?

1122christy · 29/11/2022 15:07

@MoiraDavidAlexisJohnny might not be or interest if u want the real deal but I got my daughter a fake coraline doll from aliexpress. It looks identical to the £43 from hmv but was £16. Obv not taken it out the packaging yet so might not be the sturdiest but looks ok and my dd will probs be putting on a shelf.

Can anyone who has received the Smashed Grapes tasting kit, confirm whether it fits through a letter box? Mum just announced she'll be away around the days I put for delivery! TIA

On the subject of waiting for deliveries, have people had their Beer52 calendars? Mine has been ‘with’ Evri since last Weds….

Mine came within 24 hours...

Not unless you have a letter box large enough for a sausage dog to fit through!

For anyone who is waiting for Candy Kittens, this is the response I got a few days ago (still waiting...)

Thank you for your message - we’re experiencing a very high volume of queries at the moment and our team are working as hard as possible to respond to them all.I’m really sorry that your order has not yet arrived. We have received a very high influx of orders and queries, and it is taking much longer than we'd like it to... This, along with recurring Royal Mail strikes, has meant that we’ve not been able to achieve deliveries within our normal time frame. We are really sorry that this has meant a delay to your order. We're working around the clock to pack your order, and respond to all queries.

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched, and our target is to dispatch all orders by the end of this week (Sunday), meaning orders should be delivered on or before the 1st December. We work with two couriers, one of which is Royal Mail. If your order is sent via Royal Mail please note there have been numerous strikes which are out of our control, and they are due to strike again this week. If this goes ahead, orders will be dispatched on Tuesday 29th November on a 48 hour delivery service, with a tracking link so you can follow the journey.

Therefore if you have not received your dispatch email by the end of Tuesday 29th November, please get back in touch and we will escalate.I’m really sorry once again, and thank you so much for your patience and for bearing with us during this busy period.
