My church has a project where boxes are made for young people who wouldn’t otherwise receive gifts. This year it’s teenagers in the care system through being unaccompanied asylum seekers or those ages 16-18 living in supported housing.
Id like to do a couple of boy boxes as I imagine more people will do ones for girls. I’ve got so far:
Lynx shower and deodorant stuff
sweets
toothpaste
biscuits
mug and hot chocolate sachet
socks.
What other things can I add? The other suggestions from the church list are things like fluffy socks, craft or headphones. Can’t put vouchers or money in as they’re being given that with it.
