Picturehouse Cinema - Members ?

Hope someone on this thread is a member & can help.

I am thinking of buying hard to buy for DB membership. If I go for the standard membership for him if he was booking online to go & see film with partner Im assuming he would get discounted fee on 1 ticket + no bkg fee & then standard fee on the other + bkg fee (as only 1 member) - is this correct ?

Im thinking I may upgrade if so.

(I have tried to call to find out but can never get through/I also dont live near one)

I just checked and yes when I add another normal ticket, it adds a 70p booking fee, which there isn't when I just book the member's ticket.

@BeaLola I think the picturehouse and its owners cineworld are at risk aren't they? A couple of months back they were due to file bankruptcy, I'm not sure how well they have been saved. I would like a cinema voucher myself but I'm a bit nervous.

Good point - I did know about the trouble as our local is a Cineworld- there's a BFriday offer at moment so thinking of doing that for him and adding a selection of red wine to gift - I usually do wine for him as he's so hard/fussy to buy for

@goslinggirl - I am still dithering but need to make my mind up tonight (!).

Can I ask if you are around - do the 5 "free" tickets that you get with your membership have to be used by the person with the membership card or can he book for his partner to go on her own on one of these ?

Thats probably a daft question as I am probably overthinking !
