Thanks @Robstersgirl for the title. Wonder if it was the thread that did it!

@EvilHerbivore i might be too late but I got Turtle Dove wrist warmers from eBay. Seconds in cashmere for £8 delivered

Fancyateapottea · 25/11/2022 22:39

Lookfantastic have some lovely things half price with an extra 10% off and topcashback are doing 20% cashback (which works with the discount code). There’s lots of ESPA, ren, nice make up sets etc. I got a set of 3 aromatherapy associate bath oils and redken shampoo/ conditioner for £25 (will be £20 if cashback goes through!)

HulahoopsBBQbeef · 25/11/2022 22:42

This is on bargainmax for 12.74 with the code BF25 but only until midnight. Cheapest I have seen it is 23.99 so thought it was a good offer

@2023willbegreat the referral only works on a minimum of £55 spend it seems.

if anyone would like to use my referral code for modibodi I’ve popped it on the referral thread. The £15 can be used on the sale items so depending on the price of the undies you would like you should be able to get 5 pairs (ish!) for £40. Still a lot of money but an investment none the less.

Does anyone have a link for the hair milk? Had a look back but can't find the post.

The hair milk is just on Amazon but at a cheaper price (or was) than puffalicious was paying in her local salon! So she tipped off the thread and the 🐑 all piled in. Anything up to around £9 is good value I think.

When I worked at a nursery a parent gifted us a hamper they had made with some different hot chocolate sachets, some flavoured instant coffees and some teabags and a load of biscuits (your normal dunk in your brew kind) - made for some nice tea breaks and was a good change from a box of chocolates.

@smootholive I've done this few times now. I managed to get a box of individually wrapped stroopwaffles last year if your looking for something a bit of a treat.
My mum was a teacher and really there's only so much wine/chocolate/bath stuff/best teacher mugs a person can handle or fit in their house.

Lochjeda · 25/11/2022 23:07

Great present ideas thanks!

Soscrewed · 25/11/2022 23:11

I think it may only be until midnight but you cab get 10 Christmas cards with the photo of your choice on photobox for the cost of delivery- £2.99 with code FREECARDS

2023willbegreat · 25/11/2022 23:12

@Magik01 , that’s odd because I had more than £55’s worth of items in my basket, at one stage, anyway. Never mind.

I ordered after 7pm but made a mistake with the order (one wrong size), and didn’t realise until only I checked the emailed receipt. I’ve already had a friendly reply to my message, changing my order to the right thing.

Brody77 · 25/11/2022 23:12

There are some reduced bargains on yumbles. I’ve just got a couple of kids baking kids for a couple of tweenagers who are getting to an awkward age to buy for - reduced by 35% and 44%, I can’t seem to do clicky links but have taken screen shots so hopefully anyone interested can find on the website.

It’s nice to finally find a bargain to share as I’ve enjoyed so many others from mumsnet terms this year- hot diamonds, oodies, and missed out on a couple of others- cadburys bar and hc wreath as too slow Grin. Thank you everyone

I’m looking for a scarf and maybe a hat for my mum. Warm and soft for walking the dog and in jewel colours. She doesn’t like blanket scarves though 🙈. Normal width! I saw one on Turtle doves but it’s out of stock.

also need to buy a Neom Candle. Christmas Wish. Any good deals?

Are you looking for cashmere for your mum's scarf? Gretna Green have some in their sale with 30% off but they are still £30. Most are tartans but there is a purple one that they call aubergine. Could be jewel-like I guess!

PurpleSock · 25/11/2022 23:26

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced digital photo frame please?
Also how do they usually work? Can you link to your phone or do you need to load photos specially on to them?

WimbyAce · 25/11/2022 23:28

Thanks to whoever said about the extra 20% off for new customer at bargain max (can't find the post now). Was a toy I wasn't sure about but have ordered with the extra money off!

Thank you! I'd ignored my emails from look fantastic (as they email EVERY day!)
Managed to buy a few micellar water cheaper than other places, a bigger morphe pallette than I'd planned (for the same price) and eye rollers, ideally will keep one myself but am sure DD and her friend will want them! 50% off majority, then an additional 10% and possibly 20%cashback if it tracks

nicky2512 · 25/11/2022 23:31

@buckeejit i’ve just ordered one but it’s from Meaco Ireland and only delivers to Ireland or Northern Ireland. Obviously may well be no use to you but just in case.

lemonsmum · 25/11/2022 23:46

@smootholive individual presents are sometimes better if it is aimed for staff in your child's room. If gifts are not clearly labelled to who they are for othen they can be all put into a raffle system closer to Christmas for all nursery staff.
Majority of staff are happy with chocolates/biscuits and don't last long. Nice to have in staff room for break or maybe hidden in the room cupboard 😂

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 25/11/2022 23:53

@buckeejit I bought mine here a month ok. Also did lots of research and it's brilliant, definitely recommend. www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/p/meacodry-abc12lb/meaco-meacodryabc12lb-dehumidifier

buckeejit · 25/11/2022 23:57

@Lochjeda what about a voucher for nearby restaurant? I like the cleaners idea too.

@ChristmasCwtch those bags look great, I'm mulling over for my nieces

@PurpleSock what about an echo show? They can display photos & are otherwise interactive. We used ours to call my folks in lockdown-good if you've anyone you like to call who has one too!

@nicky2512 thanks - I am NI but the .ie website won't let me play Hmm

I was taken in the end with the wind up toys that pp favoured. 4 of them were going to be £28.10 delivered. There was a box of 50 going for £25 delivered & a 20% off voucher so I've ordered them & am gladly compiling a mental list of who I can give the spares to for their dc stockings!

SnapCackleFlop · 25/11/2022 21:37

@Serenitesanta is it Posca pens by any chance? My dd is really into arty stuff and I can ask her 😊

Yes!! That’s what I meant.
I bought the ones recommended on here earlier but I’m not sure what would be needed for DC to use them.
Thanks very much

Soscrewed · 25/11/2022 10:06

Scrawlrbox have loads of their usually £20 ish subscription art boxes for £5 including postage. Putting the link in a moment ago caused me to have to retype this for some reason, just type scrawlrbox into amazon and they have a black Friday banner at the top.

Code PREV3 may take £3 off if you haven't used it before.

Thanks - ordered 3 boxes, then promptly forgot to enter the code!

Serenitesanta · 26/11/2022 00:10

If you search Posca pens or look in the Christmas forums you’ll find a thread about them and was mentioned on here too. Big box of 54 is reduced and has a 20% BF discount on too. It’s still crazy money, about £120 but it was number one wish on Santa’s list for a child who will be totally made up - so I closed my eyes snd pressed buy now.

Then realised I don’t know what I’ll need to go with them.
