DS turns two the week before Christmas, which makes present buying tricky.

He has got:

A wooden cleaning set (he loves brooms and mops - no clue why)
Balance bike
Tractor Ted backpack
Some books

What have you got for your toddlers?

Smallest DC is two in Feb. He's getting a toy kitchen with loads of accessories. Mine is obsessed with mopping and hoovering too. If only he'd do it properly, I'd be set!

Ds is 2, I've got him a wooden garage and some cars, some duplo, some more toy dinosaurs for his ever growing dinosaur collection and a couple of new books ( room on the broom and a Elmer book)

Mine is 2 in Feb. We're getting him a pikler triangle as he loves climbing things.

Mine will be 2years 4 months at Christmas, DGP typically go a bit nuts with presents so we are keeping ours simple:
books
some wooden animals
paints
little toddler knife as she likes to help us cook

DD is 3, almost 4 and is getting a emote control monster truck, I suspect she’s going to be crashing it into the furniture a lot but she loves her cousins one and it’s what she asked for 🤷🏼‍♀️. She’s also having a jigsaw, orchard toys game, frozen doll, some books, a few bits of clothes, a sleeping bag and a little Emma bridgewater mug. The clothes and sleeping bag are stuff I was buying anyway but because I’ve bought them now I thought I’d wrap them up for her to open!

last year when she was nearer your little ones age, she had duplo, frozen doll (the other one to match this years!), play food for her kitchen, lots of fancy dress stuff, a dressing gown and I can’t remember what her main present was, she was really poorly so it’s all a bit of a blur! The best thing anyone has ever bought her is her Melissa and Doug ice cream stand. It sits on her play kitchen and she plays with it every single day.

Yoto player, train set, magnatiles, mega lox and table, helmet for balance bike he’s not used yet. Will be 18 months at Christmas. (Gifts are from grandparents too, not all from us)

Which kitchen have you chosen? I'm trying to decide 🙈😅

@NoNamesLeft234678 it's the IKEA wooden one but I got it off Facebook marketplace so was only 40 quid. I though as he won't notice I might as well! It's a nice size for a 2 year old. Which ones are you looking at?

I was going to go with the IKEA one but as he's interested in details and turning things the fact that it doesn't have knobs has put me off 😥 Second hand is find - I've got him a VTech Grow and Go Ride On from marketplace 😋

The only ones I've seen are the £100 one in Argos but it's out of stock and ridiculously overpriced ones on Amazon... I don't know what to do as there's only a month to go!! 😬🥺

between the family we’ve got DD

  • toy kitchen (smyths has some with noise and lights @NoNamesLeft234678 )
  • food/kettles etc to go with
  • balance bike
  • hoover
  • happyland
  • jellycat teddy and book
  • pram
  • football goal
  • Playdoh
  • colouring/craft stuff
she also gets essentials so I’ll wrap up body wash, shampoo etc and she loves balls/round objects so I’m tempted to get some balloons

DS turns two in the weird no-man’s-land days between Christmas and New Year.

We’ve got him (to split across both)

Tabletop toy kitchen (folds up small to put away)
Beanbag chair
Doctors kit
Fireman helmet and dress up
Magnetic fishing game
John Deere tractor with drill
Chef apron and hat
Tool kit

Ill do a small stocking with some stickers, digger snap game and cookies.

With the exception of the beanbag chair which was £50 in the sale, everything else is second- hand from Vinted or FB and has cost me about £25 in total.

Family are getting him a mud kitchen, balance bike and helmet. If friends ask, I’m going to ask for a dressing gown, puzzles and gift cards for the local zoo and soft play.

DS is 2.5yrs. Yoto (plus a couple of cards) and a remote control car from us. Ideas we’ve given family are cooking utensils and a toolkit. There will be a few books and stocking fillers on top. I’d really love to limit it at that, he would be thrilled already. We do have other family members who will buy for him though, I’m hoping it’s more practical things like pyjamas.
