Christmas planner/organiser

I'd like to get one for my friend who has a large family and seems to spend the whole of Christmas cooking etc. This year I said I'd help out so she can hopefully sit down on Christmas Eve and finally watch a film and have less to do on Christmas Day.

Can anyone suggest a good planner that might help?

There are some helpful pages in the slimming world one but it does come with 12 weeks of food planning too.

Busy B do one, no idea if it's any good. Nice to have all her stuff in one place she can refer to.

I have the mum's office one. But it's more of a record than a planner.

Ryman do a planner.

beaver and Mole used to do a really nice Christmas planner. I bought some last year for dm and dsis. Doesn’t look like they’re doing them again though. But might be worth an email.

I just use an ordinary exercise book, with lists of things to do and buy, by which date.
So food shopping, cards, presents, decorations, buying the tree, the annual pre Christmas housework blitz (inc. polishing certain things that only get done once a year*) etc.

Works for me.

*the smell of Brasso has come to feel Christmassy to me, since there’s a large wooden chest, originally from Zanzibar, covered with ornamental brass and copper, which only ever gets done in the run up to Christmas - preferably with a CD of carols playing.🎄

There is a youtubber called Brittany Blane who has a free organiser on her website to print. It even has pages to organise how you will decorate each room.

I've just bought the Busy B one - mainly to keep all my lists in one place. It is ok but tbh next year I think I will just buy a small ring binder and add inserts. Some of the pages aren't the most relevant for me.

Any discount codes active this weekend?

I got this a couple of years ago, I love it.

It’s got loads of different sections for presents, food planning, shopping lists etc, I think I’m on year three now and there’s still plenty left in it, I’ll definitely buy another one when it runs out. I love looking back at what I’ve bought previously (sad I know😂) I would really recommend it.
