My son has ASD so is not as mature as many other 11yr olds. I'm looking for gifts and stocking stuffers that kind of bridge the gap between childhood and the early teenage years.
He is not into marvel or Star Wars or any main stream movies or TV shows. He's got plenty of books, but always reverts back to the same ones. He loves Rubix cubes but has them ALL!
He likes things that take a bit of strategy that he can hyper focus on (ie: the Rubix cube), magic, random fact type things like Ripley's Believe it or Not, and techy things like programming. He's still very much his own person, but is starting to be influenced with that the other boys in his year are liking and talking about.
He's just started using deodorant (because the other boys do and apparently it'll make him smell good for the girls lol!). I'm thinking of putting some kind of teenage type face wash and toiletries in his stocking as well.
Can anyone recommend a few gift and stocking stuffer ideas? No lego please, and no sweets please.
