Christmas gifts you appreciated as a soon to be mum

My sister is due with her first child just after Christmas. I’m looking for a Christmas gift for her that is non baby related and something she’d appreciate. Gift vouchers and experiences are probably out the window for her right now but I don’t want to get anything baby related/new mum related as I wouldn’t do that for her partner and she deserves a gift just for her.

What have you received as a new/soon to be mum that wasn’t baby related and you really appreciated? Any ideas?! Help!

A decent waterproof coat! You can’t hold an umbrella pushing a pram, so my Rains raincoat was very much appreciated.

Contigo flask

Will money be tight for them? If so then deliveroo / local coffee shop vouchers!

Otherwise agree with the raincoat idea.

DH got me and my baby matching pjs for my birthday - sorry still a bit baby related but as a pyjama lover I thought they were great.

I've just realised no one has really bought me anything not baby related - except for 'pampering' stuff which is a lovely thought but I genuinely never have the time or energy for a face mask or foot scrub etc so for me they were a waste.

Spa voucher for when she's comfortable to leave the baby. My partner did this when my baby was 4 months old and it was BLISS. A few hours away, a massage and hot tub. Perfect.

If it helps, I would actually like baby related stuff (also due after Christmas). I'm hoping to breastfeed and considering the current temperatures a nice jumper or something I could do that it would be good. I'm normally in jeans or skirts but I've asked for some comfier trousers (that aren't pyjama bottoms).

Assuming she will be on maternity pay at some point, I’d say vouchers for a hair cut/colour at her fave salon or manicure etc - whatever she would usually do that she might not be able to afford once the May pay kicks in. Doubles as a relaxing treat without the baby too!
