Felt pens for teens

On my teen's wishlist is felt pens that you can shade with, that blend well with other colours, have good coverage and don't bobble the paper.

Any ideas!? Thanks

Tombow pens are amazing, but pricey

Spectrum Noir are good

Also check that she's using good quality paper, not just plain office a4, that should help with the bobbling.

Arteza pens are fab

these are the ones teens ask for - but expensive

I assume other makers have followed their lead and made them cheaper.

Copic. are the brand for this sort of thing. Not cheap sadly.

Second asking what they want and the budget.... If unsure visit an art shop. I like the Albrecht Dürer Watercolour Marker but they leak.

There are some fantastic Japanese ones but they are difficult to get hold of. And are eye wateringly expensive when you do.
