Hi, last year we watched Christmas with the Kranks' with our kids (then aged 17 down to 7), they all absolutely loved it.

I remember that one one of the Christmas threads, someone mentioned a one with similar humour etc, and we decided to 'save' it and watch it this year.

I now have zero memory of what it was-any ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

I love Christmas with the kranks 😊

no idea what the film mentioned previously was but national lampoons Christmas vacation is a good one that I think a 7/8 year old would enjoy as well as older people

Deck the halls?

Deck the Halls was the first thing that came to mind

Yes my first thought was deck the halls, remember flicking through the channels and finding deck the halls 2, to put on to listen to whilst doing housework. House work was duly abandoned for the next hour or two to watch it properly!

Oh, I didn't know there was a number 2?! (Juvenile moment: That sounds so wrong. sniggers) Was it on a streaming platform?

No, I’m pretty sure it was one of the sky channels, as I was just randomly flicking through to find something interesting to listen to.
I had no idea what film id just watched as I’d missed the start so had to Google to find out what it was!

Lol, no worries. Xmas Smile I didn't realise there was a Jingle All The Way 2 either! Xmas Grin

Thank you all.

Imagine my confusion when I started to Google these, and realised it was actually Deck the Halls we watched and loved! So I think Christmas with the Kranks must have been the other one- which is presumably why it stuck in my head.

Going to try and find the other suggestions too though as I don't think we've watched any of them.

Christmas with the Kranks is my favourite.

Planes Trains and Automobiles is also great, albeit Thanksgiving not Xmas.
